Spider / Transparent Facade Systems
Transparent facade systems are a frameless glazing technique. Front spaces with high and wide openings can be passed easily with the transparent system. It is also possible to use this system on facades, entrance eaves and skylights where visuality is important such as showrooms. They are facade solutions designed to minimize the profile perception on the facade. Glasses can be selected as heat insulated or laminated single glass, and glass assembly can be made through the holes on the glass with the help of accessories.These elements and glasses are mounted to the main structure using special equipment called spider holder. Point holders are manufactured with movable head and allow the glass stress to be transferred to the main construction without any problem. After the application, the joints are filled with silicone and water insulation is provided. The main bearing structure can be stainless steel profile or it can be formed with many alternatives.
Unlike other systems, the sub-carrier system in this system consists of glass or stainless elements instead of aluminum profiles.Transparent facade systems take different names such as glass column, glass beam, stainless steel construction and stainless steel tension transparent systems according to the carrier element and system.
